Hi, I’m Israel Burman, for several years I have been training ISVs on advanced debugging techniques, both for native and managed code, as well as advanced performance troubleshooting techniques.
My experience is a combination of a developer with strong debugging skills and performance troubleshooting. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to develop my skills in multiple areas of science. I worked over 15 years at Hidroservice, one of the largest engineering companies at the time in Brazil, where I developed all structural analysis software in Fortran, including finite element analysis, rock mechanics, fluid mechanics and others, while at the same time being part of the engineering team responsible for some of the largest projects in Brazil, including power plants, airports, tunnels and more.
After that I opened my own company where we developed an integrated construction management system all built in C/C++ which was adopted by some of the largest contractors in the country.
Finally, I spend another big stretch of my life at Microsoft, using all my developer background helping ISVs adopting Microsoft technologies and improving my debugging and performance troubleshooting skills.
After 18 years at Microsoft in Redmond I moved to Israel, doing some consulting work to take advantage of my skills and experience accumulated over the past years at Microsoft.
