Modern Coding and Angular 2

ANG-208

JavaScript is everywhere these days and writing large scale applications with it has been through much progress. In this 1 day workshop we progress through a set of power sessions and get our hands on the practical usage of Angular 2, Typescript, Reactive programming using Observables, and more.

This seminar is for technical managers and decision makers. The seminar topics are intuitively presented in order to understand the basic concepts and be able to professionally communicate with development teams.

Seminar Topics

Modern Frontend development and Angular
Review the current state of frontend development and single page web applications

Directives & Components
Introducing the component as the core primitive building block of the application

Binding, events, pipes and life cycle
Understand the different parts and concepts of the framework

Dependency Injection
The DI system that comes with Angular2 is one of the most beautiful pieces of codes we’ve seen, let’s get excited

Routing & Navigation
Single Page applications are becoming the standard for modern UX, lets understand the power of the component’s router

Server Communication
Awake our frontend by communicating with servers using XHR, JSONP, we’ll talk about Observables and also look into Building real time apps using web sockets.

Forms
Introduction to building forms, and using Controls, Validations and Messages, tracking and communicating changes

Stream programming with RxJS
We’ll examine few of the most important operators you should know about to start unleashing the force of functional reactive programming.

Typescript
TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript that compiles to plain JavaScript. It’s a productivity booster, a code-quality enabler and the most elegant way to get dependency injection in Angular

A brave look at the future
The frontend scene is changing, as HTML, CSS and Javascript are used to build web apps, server side, mobile, desktop, robots and what not. In this session we will look at different standards, libraries and tools, and how Angular will play part in the future of frontend.
